Yup, it works! Hate shucking corn and picking off all the corn silk!?! Place your “corn on the cobb” still in it's husk in your microwave. Cook the corn on full power for 5 minutes. Remove the corn from the microwave using oven mitts and carefully cut about 1 inch of the husk off the bottom. Hold the corn up from the opposite end and it will easily slide out completely clean. Works best if the grocer hasn't trimmed off the tip of the corn.
