Easy Spinach Dal (Dhal, Dhall). So good! My modifications: 1 cup red lentils cooked in 4 cups water. 1 t. Cumin seeds and 3/4 t. Turmeric toasted in 3 T. ghee, then add 2 T. Minced ginger, 3 large minced garlic cloves, and 4 oz finely chopped spinach. Add spices to lentils, add juice of half a lime, and season with salt. Toddler loves it!
