The Best Part of Me - literature lesson, photography, and poetry writing This year I teamed with the middle school photography class. My class read the book, then wrote about our favorite parts, then photography class took the pictures. They are currently hanging in the hallway.
Genius Hour was a success! Some of my kids' project ideas: invent/build a cheaper lacrosse stick for our students, organize a "Path for Pit bulls" walk, create an inspired photography portfolio, start a mentor program at the school, and more. Needless to say, I am super impressed with not only with their excitement, but also the range of ideas. #proudteacher #geniushour
