I finally got one of my boys to agree to try mushrooms. I made a sauce and serve it over a steak. He has now cautiously agreed to try other mushroom dishes.....expanding their culinary profile has gotten easier as they grow older. I have one more son and a husband left to convert to trying mushrooms.
4hr roast lamb with steamed eg and potatoe smash. Using a rolled shoulder means it will be much easier to carve, so do go for this cut. The celeriac in the potato smash adds an impressive twist. You can prepare the veggies in advance, stacking them in the different compartments of a steamer, ready to go.
