Our heart is a garden cultivated by those we let into our life.  More often that not, we realize, too late, that they have only left brambles and choking vines.  One day we wake to find that a labyrinth of thorns has grown around our heart, and accept that nobody will ever be allowed in again.  Until someone understands that what dwells in the center is the most precious thing on earth and are brave enough to go through it all to be a part of it.
