Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich dressed for the Winter Costume Ball of 1903.  Mikhail was the youngest brother  of  Tsar Nicholas ll.  When Nicholas was forced to abdicate, Mikhail was asked if he wanted to become the new Tsar.  He refused. He was murdered by the Bolsheviks along side other family members in a very brutal manner.
