How to Make an Outdoor Curtain Rod for Very Little Money 3/4 inch Conduit:  about $2.75 for 10 feet; it won’t rust which makes it perfect for outside. and they will cut it for you right there in the store!   3/4 in. pipe hangers:  (on HomeDepot.com search “Halex 3/4 in. Steel Conduit and Pipe Hangers”) These come in a 5 pack for about $2.75 and are really easy to drill into your patio cover to hold your rod. Curtain Rod Clips- 1 inch.
