ADAMITE Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Mun. de Mapimí, Durango, Mexico -- unusual for the absolute size of its crystals - up to .5 inch across the terminations and .63 inch in length. The radiating crystal groups feature the classic curved terminations and "wheel" type of habit. Luster is quite glassy and scintillating. There is the typical rust brown gossan matrix. The coloration that rapidly grades into a tint that is midway between lemon yellow and lime green.
