Make your own sensory fidget toy. Have your kids blow up a balloon a few times to stretch it out (while also working on oral motor strengthening, breath control and core activation!). Using a funnel, fill up the balloon with corn starch and tie a knot in it. Now they have a toy to add to their sensory box!

PBIS calming down idea--squishy marble maze. Gallon ziplock bag, duct tape, dish liquid, and a marble. Could always add glitter :o)   Great directions and photos.  I think this would also work as a class reward option (if I make enough).  :o)
