Ospreys are widespread across the Pacific Northwest wherever they can find a combination of big water for fishing and trees or platforms for roosting and nesting. They are often seen soaring or hovering in place high above the water, looking for fish. Their nests are easy to find, because they favor the bare tops of trees as well as power poles and man-made nesting platforms. #MustSeeBirds

Spent a week in Scotland on holiday and couldn't resist one more early morning taking shots of the Ospreys. Was very quiet until Red turned up and put on a great show with some massive trout.
