Personal Cork Board for a teacher gift. Purchase a cheap wooden frame, decorate with buttons, add button push-pins (wood tacks work best), put cork board in the frame and remove glass. Attach a school picture and have your child make a homemade card! Hot glue worked great for this project!
Framed button flowers for teacher gift. Buy a 5"x7" wooden picture frame, cut a piece of paper to 5"x7", have your child draw grass and stems with leaves, glue button flowers at the tops of the stems. I used small pieces of cork board (use whatever you have that will work) to raise the frame away from the backing to give it a shadow box effect. Attached a school picture and had son make a handmade card with his own special message in it.
Button push-pins for teacher gift. Purchase wooden tacks (Walmart has them) and some novelty buttons (these flower buttons were purchases in sewing/craft are in Walmart). Hot glue worked great to glue the buttons onto the tops of the wooden tacks. My twins' teachers loved them!
