I love the first 3 books in this series, and I think they are a good read for OLDER Young Women- although with adult conversation mostly because the 2nd or 3rd book involves some cutting...its portrayed as wrong but it is something that is in there so I really feel like it should be handled delicately. The lessons taught are great though~!
Yet another great Jodi Picoult book! Mercy questions what true love is and touches on the concept of trust. The book focuses mainly on two couples who seem to have nothing in common. The question is, which of the couples, if any, is a true example of a real relationship?
If you like feel good books or happy endings feel free to throw this one out. But if you like psychology and realism then read this. It will haunt you but in a good way. Never be scared to ask for help, you have nothing to lose. It's either that or death. And never be scared to help others around you. Monsters don't always lurk in the shadows. Sometimes they are your friendly neighbors.
