Grief group: Start with large paper heart. Cut into pieces so that each person in group gets a piece. Have group members draw a picture, write a memory, share a message, etc to honor the losses they have experienced. After sharing their messages, wrok as a group to put the heart back together. Use bandages to attach the pieces of the heart together. “We have all been hurt, but together as a group we can heal”

Healing Heart activity for grief/loss related groups - Make a big heart, cut it apart, have students draw/write on it, and then put it together like a puzzle with band-aids
