Upcycle an old bird cage into a succulent planter :)     I extended the bottom of the cage with an hardware cloth basket cut and bent to size. Lined it with moss and filled with potting soil. I originally filled it with lobelia but it dried out way to fast.

Good idea for multiple reasons: 1) equisetum grows so quickly and make even the newest newbie of a gardener feel accomplished and happy, 2) equisetum can get out of control and this container will prevent that from happening, 3) creates privacy and covers up some unsightly areas | protractedgarden
