Tuatara - Sphenodon punctatus : One of only 2 species of the family Sphenodontidae; the other, Sphenodon tatives. Looking similar to lizards, they are the only surviving members of a group of reptiles that flourished over 200 million years ago. Found on only 2 groups of islands off the coast of New Zealand - (note possible ID/Tracker on its back) -

Tuatara is the only living relative of the dinosaur and are endemic to New Zealand. They are the only Reptile of Order Rhynchocephalia. Often called a "living fossil, Tuatara are amazing creatures.
