James Patterson's Michael Bennett Series - 1st in the series and great..would never expect otherwise :D

Why is James Patterson so popular? I got this book at the library while I'm waiting for Harry Bosch 4 & 5 to show up from Price Books.

Inspirational stories about hurting children/abused horses and helping one another heal. My dream is to create a farm, just like in this book, that rescues abused equines and children.

This is an awesome book. Kim Meeder with the assistance of her "angels in horsehair" help troubled kids find solid ground at her ranch in Oregon.

Enchantingly thought-provoking even three years after I first read it...
