I made this out of an old tree stem I found in my parents garden. The plants were also in the garden =) sometimes it's like a little fleemarket. I've put moss in the "open parts" of the tree stem and then just put the little cut succulents in it. This is so beautiful. I want to make one of these in a wooden box. I had the best surprise of having one of these at my wedding reception thanks to my lovely wedding planner Claudia De Velasco. She made it herself and it was sooooo beautiful :)

How to plant succulents in a birdcage 4) 4) remove succulents and place in center of cage as desired. Hens & chicks used here. Remove some of the soil to expose the roots. Now place roots thru wire slots from outside, pour some cactus soil in the inside to cover the roots.
