Dress ca. 1876, possibly modified in early 1880s. Silk taffeta in cinnamon brocade figured with ivory floral sprays. Bodice has low curved basque in front and broad pleats in back, is edged in ruffled pleats & lined in ivory satin. Borders trimmed with velvet ribbon. 1860's Emerald Green silk & Floral Stripe Dress: What a beautiful fabric. This 1860's dress is made of stripe silk taffeta. The wide green stripes were originally striped with a fine black stripe.
