Vietnam War. Us Infantryman Looks Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Everett

Vietnam War. US Infantryman looks over the fog-shrouded A Shau Valley, a major arm of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. 1969.

Remembering how many times we went "out to work" dressed like this. Can you name all the gear. What was your most important thing to carry. Water, frags, rosary, bible, claymore, and why did that one thing become that important? We carried much, but mostly we carried our dead and wounded back to the inside of our wire. We were young by age, but very much older than our birthdays. Fresh newbies arrived looking seventeen and within a tour those same men looked thirty with the stare. Remember?
