It was also read again that evening before the militia on the Commons. Throughout the city, bells were rung all day. Let's remember to celebrate this important day in history!

March 9th, 1959 celebrates the anniversary of the day the Barbie Doll made its debut at the American International Toy Fair in New York, it is also used as Barbie’s Official Birthday. Barbie was one of the first toys to have a marketing strategy based extensively on TV advertising. It is estimated that over a billion Barbie Dolls have been sold worldwide in over 150 countries. We all know a little/big girl that loves Barbie, time to play with them today!
