This 72" x 72" quilt, designed and sewn by Michele Hill, was donated to the Society of Antiquaries in London for a fund raiser for Kelmscott Manor. Named, "Friends," the design inspiration for this quilt came from the work of William Morris, Charles Voysey, Walter Crane and Charles Harrison Townsend. The pattern for making this quilt can be found in Michele Hill's book, "William Morris in Applique," pages 50 - 55.
