The tomb of Lady Catherine Grey and Edward Seymour, Earl of Hertford Salisbury Cathedral. The younger sister of Lady Jane Grey, Catherine was a granddaughter of Henry VIII’s sister Mary and a potential successor to her cousin.
The ancient & historic Hatfield House was home to the young Queen Elizabeth I. Much of the old house is gone, and the newer parts have long been the home to the Earls of Salisbury since the beginning of the century
