“James Grashow’s enormous cardboard sculpture is inspired by Bernini’s famous Trevi Fountain in Rome. He believes that “creation and destruction are married to each other,” so the work will be installed outdoors on The Aldrich’s front terrace where it will weather and disintegrate. ”

This incredible sculpture was inspired by Bernini's Trevi Fountain in Rome and is made completely of cardboard! The artist James Grashow is known for his large scale environmental installations.

This sculptour is by Claes Oldenburg. I like this sculptour becuase it is scary how it looks like the people are being swept away. I also like how the sculptour constantly looks like it is going to fall because it is on a slant and there is nothing holding it up.
