The Concord School House and Upper Burying Ground -The burying ground was created in 1692. Buried here are 52 known and 5 unknown soldiers of the Revolution, 11 from the War of 1812, 1 from the Mexican War and many of Germantown's Founding Fathers. In the 1760s the residents of Germantown decided they needed a schoolhouse of their own. The site beside the Upper Burying Ground was chosen, construction began, and in the autumn of 1775, the Concord School was completed. concordschoolhouse.org
