My fave protein shake is 2 Tbsp of Choc PB2, 1/4 cup oatmeal, 4 ice cubes, 1 scoop of Vanilla protein powder, 1/2 banana & 1 cup of 1% milk. 330 calories, 47g carbs, 32g protein. You can shave calories and carbs off by switching to almond milk and eliminating the oatmeal.... Regardless it is super yummy. Sometimes I add some spinach for some extra vitamin C (doesn't affect the taste!)!!
1 loaf of French Bread 1.5 cups of milk 1 cup of heavy cream 8 eggs 1 can of peaches sliced (I buy halves and slice myself if I don't have any home canned jars left) 1 tablespoon vanilla 2 teaspoons of cinnamon 1/4 of syrup Arrange bread & peaches in a greased pan.Pour mixture of milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, syrup slowly over the top.Refrigerate for 6-8 hrs.Reduce cream for 20 mins.Drizzle over top.Bake at 350 for 40 minutes (maybe longer but check & foil tent if getting too brown).
Made this for my Zumba ladies. They were my Guinea Pigs. Pizza dough topped with wilted spinach, softened cream cheese and garlic. Add handfuls of mozzarella on top of that. Sliver some sirloin real thin and add your favorite rub (I use the copy cat Texas Roadhouse). Defrost some small shrimp. Top the pizza with the steak and shrimp (uncooked is fine for both). Bake at 450 for 18-20 minutes.
"One Pot Chili Bacon Mac n' Cheese"- Fry up 1/2 lb. of bacon.Remove bacon from pan.Brown ground venison or beef, 1/2 minced onion, 1/2 minced pepper in bacon drippings.Drain if necessary.Add beans (I use one can each of black and kidney beans cause I love beans), cayenne,chili powder,salt, pepper, 1 can of tomatoes,cumin, 1.5cups of stock and milk.Simmer. Sauté half an onion sliced, chopped carrots, 2 minced cloves of garlic, and a sliced small cabbage. Add 6 cups of chicken stock. Add 2 lbs of sliced raw chicken breast. Add Salt, and dash of Sesame oil and simmer to cook chicken through. Make desired white rice however you want (rice cooker, boiled, bag, minute rice, Jasmine, etc.) Add however much rice you want to bottom of soup bowl (I usually skip the rice) and spoon your soup over the top. Halve & roast squash (seeded, olive oil, face down on sheet for 45 minutes).In large pan fry 1 lb chopped bacon.Drain most of grease.Add 3 cloves minced garlic.Pour in 1.5 cups chicken stock.Simmer until half gone.Reduce to low.In separate bowl beat 4 egg yolks & 1/4 cup milk.Add a spoonful of simmered stock.Pour yolk/milk mixture into bacon/garlic/stock on low.Add 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1 cup grated parm cheese.Scrape spaghetti squash and add to your mixture. CHICKEN CORDON BLEU SKEWERS (with SWISS & DIJON DIPPING SAUCE)Cube ham steak and chicken into bite size pieces. Alternate on skewers. Brush some olive oil on to skewers and shake on some Montreal Steak seasoning. In a saucepan combine flour, butter, milk, and nutmeg to make a white sauce. Add swiss cheese and a tablespoon of dijon to sauce and dip your ham and chicken in the Swiss/Dijon sauce.
