Cricket Loom Checked Towels. Weave kitchen towels in a country check design using our Aurora Earth 100% cotton yarn. This is a great project for beginning weavers. Very easy to weave. Can be woven on a 15" Cricket Loom or any rigid heddle 2 shaft loom. Equipment needed: Weaving width of at least 14.4" weaving width; 10-dent reed (2 ends/dent) at 20 epi in plain weave.

This pick up technique makes a fabric that looks complex to weave but is actually very easy. You get into the rhythm of the waffle weave sequence quickly and will weave a beautiful towel set in just a few hours.
