Had a hard day yesterday missing a loved one, black feather caught my eye in driveway. Then this pops up, interesting!

Both wolves and ravens have the ability to form social attachments and they seem to have evolved over many years to form these attachments with each other, to both species' benefit.

And anyway, I love crows, ravens—all the corvid family. I don't find them sinister at all. They are smart and make me think of how little we know about the "inner lives" of animals.
