The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is an intimate collection of fine and decorative art. A vibrant, innovative venue for contemporary artists, musicians and scholars. Housed in a 15th-century Venetian-style palace with three stories of galleries surrounding a sun- and flower-filled courtyard, the museum provides an unusual backdrop for the viewing of art.

I don't think I could ever tire of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It is remarkable that this woman turned her home into a public museum.

I got this sculpture idea from pinterest but made a few changes to the lesson. We learned about Pollock, Moore, Seurat, and Calder. Students used 6" foam board squares for the walls. Foam board can be expensive so I went to a local frame store and asked for their scrap pieces.

I love color I love art and whenever I travel I try to go to the contemporary art museums. I love when people look at art and think how is this art? It gets people talking. It also gets me wondering how Ive never become famous for all the odd things I painted from the ages of 3-7. I thought this piece in particular was beautiful but I guess I must have been too excited because I got yelled at for getting too close to this one Im like a raccoon attracted to shiny colorful things…
