Wild Eyed Southern Celt :  Today, over 450,000 wreaths were laid on military graves across America. The project was started in 1990 by a small business which placed 5000 wreaths at Arlington. Wreaths Across America, despite almost no corporate sponsorship, now works to obtain enough wreaths to cover all 131 national military cemeteries and military graves in other locations.
