Cheaper By The Dozen was one of my favorites! My seventh grade teacher, Mrs. Bradshaw, told me about it. I think it's one of the reasons I love the 1920s. It's not a bit like the modern movie, though there is an older version of the book that was made!
I haven’t read a book this creepy, violent, or disturbing in a long time. A.M. Homes is, quite possibly, the most fearless writer I have ever read and The End of Alice is a book that is both horrifying and beautiful.
