I love that this looks 'alive' with windows open & hats & coats hanging up.'Iceberg' roses in the front garden of the 1900 homestead.
Foxgloves, in my view, are the quintessential English cottage garden flower. (The Old Rectory, Haselbech, Northamptonshire)
This is my perfect garden. It grows naturally like this, and I don't even have to do any gardening. Deal with it.

The 576-square-foot plot produces veggies all summer for a family of four, with plenty left over to share. Tidy raised beds and gravel paths make it easy to care for. (Every spring when I am planting-- this is how it looks in my head:) love it!)
