I'm not remotely close to being the target audience for this book but I'm blown away by how good my dear friend's debut novel is. If you liked The Hunger Games there's a pretty good chance you'll like Through the Door (The Thin Veil). Well done Jodi.

I listed to this book on CD and wasn't sure I could handle the descriptions of human trafficking and while they are intense, they are tasteful. The book was off to a slow (read wordy) start but now it's all I can think about!

Ok, finally figured out how to pin something! This book caught my eye! Like I said before, Human trafficking is a form of slavery, and it is a shame it is alive and thriving in the century!
