This is the sort of colour contrast I'd like inside my magazine. A gradient like this pulls in the reader, and makes you become more intrigued rather than the bright colours that catch your eyes, but are annoying to read through. These sort of colours are easy on the eye, as you read through.

This captures the importance of line in The use of the fence with the patterned thin lines helps to accentuate the strong vertical lines of the bridge. The photograph makes your eyes move right to the intended focus and gives a sense of hopefulness.
