Here are a few of the DIY owl slumber party invites for my step-daughters birthday. I drew an owl template, traced it and cut them out. Then i drew templates for the parts of the owl (eyes, front & inside of wings). I traced those on scrapbook paper..LOTS of scrapbook paper!! (10 invites total)! I hole punched the wings once all parts were glued on, and tied the wings together w/ some curly ribbon. All the party info was inside on the owls belly behind the wings. Super cute, SUPER tedious!!
WHOOO doesn't love an easy & adorable owl craft? We made these for my daughter's class party this week... Happy Owl-oween! NOW OWL YOU WILL NEED IS: jumbo wood craft stick, black card stock, googly eyes, colorful scrapbooking paper (I used a 1 inch circle punch), scrapbooking border (next time I think I'll use cloth rick rack), scissors, glue, black electrical tape (used to attach stick to back) and an owl template. I found the perfect size on blueskyconfections!
