Wichita Blue Juniper gets 10-15' tall & 4-6' wide. This tree stays relatively narrow & pyramidal. The botanical name is Juniperus scopulorum & is also known as Rocky Mountain Juniper or Colorado Redcedar. There are other similar cultivars such as the following: •Skyrocket - One of the most narrow. •Moonglow - silver blue foliage and very broad •Medora - nice blue-green foliage but a slower grower

Exceptionally showy, silvery blue foliage and broad pyramidal form makes a most attractive landscape accent, excellent for screens, hedges and group plantings. This tough plant has a dense compact branching habit that resists grazing by deer.

'BLUE DIAMOND' SPRUCE (Picea pungens 'Blue Diamond'):  This new variety originated in Deurne, The Netherlands in 1990 from a hybridization between the female parent, Picea pungens 'Glauca' (unpatented) and the male parent, an unknown Picea pungens.  Regular pyramidal shape;  intense blue-coloured foliage; grown from cuttings.  Height: 66 cm is reached after 6 years, 125 cm is reached after 12 years.  Width: 56 cm in 6 years, 90 cm in 12 years;  Growth rate: 15 cm per year.  - Maréchal
