I silently creep through the forest. The dense fog makes it easy to disappear if needed. I find a hidden cave and start a fire. I begin to rummage through a backpack I had grabbed. Inside it held a rope, a can of water, a blanket, a flashlight, and sardines. I take off my jacket and place it by the fire to dry, I then wrap myself up in the blanket and cook a few of the sardines. Then I rest. Tomorrow I will explore.
Winter ~ Lands of Ice & Snow ~ " . . . when we have learned how to listen to trees, then the brevity and the quickness and the childlike hastiness of our thoughts achieve an incomparable joy." ~ Hermann Hesse
