I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. One of the few books in High School that I loved reading! The poets memoirs of prejudice, femininity and family are both heartbreaking and fascinating.

Love all of Harlan Coben's books. Had a chance to meet him once at a book signing, I didn't go. Have always regretted that.

Kiss The Girls - James Patterson I went through a weird phase where I enjoyed reading these James Patterson books. They are very fast paced and simply written. Once you read through like 4 or 5 of them it starts to get really boring. The first 2 or 3 are decent though.

Since his debut in 1951 as The Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield has been synonymous with "cynical adolescent." Holden narrates the story of a couple of days in his sixteen-year-old life, just after he's been expelled from prep school, in a slang that sounds edgy even today and keeps this novel on banned book lists. It begins, "If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is where I was born and what my lousy childhood was like.
