Indian Gooseberry, or Amla, (Emblica officinalis). I found this frozen at an Indian grocery store and picked it up on a whim. I used it in a rice dish with lemon and chaat masala. The flavor is bitter if too much is used, but pleasantly sour with a sweet aftertaste if you get it right. It also left my mouth a little numb, in a fun way.
