Senior picture, not yet photoshopped. This is a typical pose for my son, as he doesn't much like shoes, and bare feet provides a contrast to his semi-formal attire and setting.
Senior picture. Not edited (yet). I love how happy and relaxed she is. We just kept talking and snapping away.
Senior photo. Natural lighting (hour or so before dusk). Not even photoshopped yet...Friend had a great chair, and a lovely patio, and let us use them both. We plan to do other indoor shots in her "library" later. Olympus Tough, "Beauty" setting, highest resolution.
Senior photo with musical instrument. Don't be afraid to mix interesting furniture with offbeat settings.
Senior photo, before editing. Natural outdoor light, late afternoon, on patio. Tip: Find friends with really great furniture props, and start taking pictures about an hour before twilight. Taken with an Olympus Tough on a "Beauty" setting, "Fine resolution", highest "meg" setting.
Senior picture, late afternoon lighting, not photoshopped, yet. Very natural pose. Tip: take lots of pictures, and shoot while the subject is relaxed, and maybe even conversational. Taken with an Olympus Tough, "Beauty" setting, highest resolution.
Senior photo. Look for settings in your friends' (or your own) home, that have interesting, but not overwhelming backgrounds, and natural lighting. The lighting here is from an east window, but late in the day. This has not been edited, yet, but I feel I need to do very little to enhance the natural beauty.
