My #1 favorite book of all time.  Not a book club pick, just a book I loved. I have read this three times, listened to the audio and watched the movie.

The Road (Cormac McCarthy). Understated and straightforward but written with beautiful language and some heartfelt moments. A dad and young son "carry the fire" to the coast in a post apocalyptic cannibalistic world.

How can you resist another novel from the author of High Fidelity and About a Boy?  A "humblingly humourous" novel....
