Raffia Craft Basics - How to Make a Simple Raffia Mat & Simple Raffia Flowers
The sweater vase is lovely filled with flowers. It's just a sleeve from a sweater, slipped over the vase, with a simple raffia bow. The "Thankful Thoughts of You" card was made by using reinkers to create a watercolor effect on a baby wipe, then using it as a stamp pad for solid leaf rubber stamps. JewelsInTheRoad.wordpress.com
Radial Design - We used simple clothesline for the baskets’ interior core structure, simultaneously wrapping it with colorful yarn to create patterns, and coiling from the center outwards to create the overall form. A paperclip was used to stitch the yarn through each coil and fasten it in place. Instead of yarn, raffia, sweetgrass, or even long pine needles can be used to achieve a more natural look.

The H-Bench is a hard working design that references the monumentality of classical antiques together with the geometry and hedonism of 70s furniture design.
