Re-using a live-edge chunk of wood. I have no clue what type it is. I don’t think it started out as a live-edge cut either, it looks like it just weathered over time. So we cut off a straight edge on the end and notched out a spot on the left to fit around the post. And voila! Outdoor dining! www.killerbdesigns.com
At first glance, this fence is pretty basic. A nice, solid stained black with wide boards that don’t totally obstruct the view beyond it. But if you look closely, you can see the addition of thin chicken wire. This is a great idea if you want a modern, stylish fence but still have to either keep your small pets in or small critters out. Genius and super easy.
