Elevators on Memory Care Floors are problematic for a few reasons.  1)  They will attract "exit seekers" 2)  They don't have the warm "look and feel" of  home (a foreign looking environment can also stimulate a desire to exit) Our treatment (still a fully functioning elevator!) warmed the space.
