Army SPC. Michael I. Edwards, 26, of Fairbanks, Alaska.  Died January 7, 2006, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assigned to 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment, Alaska Army National Guard, Anchorage, Alaska. Died when the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter he was in crashed near Tal Afar, Iraq.
