McVey Died November 7, 2004 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 53, of Oak Hill, W.Va.; assigned to the 706th Transportation Company, Army Reserve, Kenton, Ohio; died Nov. 7 in Beaver, W.Va., after being medically evacuated from Baghdad on Sept. 23 for treatment of a non-combat related illness.
Army Sgt. Edward L. Brooks Died August 29, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 25, of Dayton, Ohio; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany; died Aug. 29 in Ramadi, Iraq, of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device.

Tomczak Died September 25, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 24, of Huron, S.D.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 325th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died Sept. 25 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using small-arms fire.
Marine Lance Cpl. Nicholas J. Manoukian Died October 21, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 22, of Lathrup Village, Mich.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed Oct. 21 while conducting combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq.
