The Chelsea Alehouse Brewery is one step closer to its fall opening with the delivery of eight new stainless steel beer tanks from Marks Design and Metalworks LLC in Vancouver, Wash. Tuesday afternoon. The tanks were delivered to the soon-to-be-finished brewery space in the Factory Building at McKinley’s Clocktower Complex.

Chelsea’s Healthy Communities Walking Program is inviting the public to take part in an upcoming event endorsed by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports. The Labor Day Fun Walk is slated for Sept. 3 at the Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road, in the Waterloo Recreation Area. Participants will have their choice of taking part in a 5.3-mile hike or 1.5-mile walk.
