Niger Tetra (Arnoldichthys spilopterus) …a species of African tetra (Alestidae) that is endemic to the country of Nigeria, where it occurs in the lower Niger and Ogun rivers and some of their drainages. Niger tetra feed mainly on worms, insects, and crustaceans and are mainly pelagic. Currently Arnoldichthys spilopterus is listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN, as it likely faces some threats from habitat loss/destruction.
Roberts´ squeaker. The squeakers (Synodontis) are a very species-rich genus. More than 130 species are known, all of them originate from Africa. In the countries of their origin most species are used for food. In the aquarium hobby most species are unknown with a few exceptions.
