Niger Tetra (Arnoldichthys spilopterus) …a species of African tetra (Alestidae) that is endemic to the country of Nigeria, where it occurs in the lower Niger and Ogun rivers and some of their drainages. Niger tetra feed mainly on worms, insects, and crustaceans and are mainly pelagic. Bleeding Shiners, Luxilus zonatus.  These are males over a spawning site.  Gorgeous during the spawning season, but rather dull during the rest of the year, sadly.  Nonetheless, wonderful aquarium fish!
