D Day 70th Anniversary June 6, 2014.  My paternal grandfather drove a landing boat on D Day in Normandy.  When he came back from the war, he was silent for over a year - he couldn't verbalize or process all of the horrors he had witnessed during the war.  My grandfather was my heart and is my hero.  He is in Heaven now and I will see him again.  :-)
