This is an abstract multi media acrylic and paper design. I used an early 1900's watercolor of my Auntie Irene that I painted, to tell a story. She grew up in the Elk Rapids-Kewadin area of Michigan. The Hollyhocks and water in the background belong to Elk Rapids. I don't really remember my Auntie Irene as she died when I was very young. My mother's cousin once told me that Irene had a heart of gold. The music sheet at the top of the picture is suppose to be the Upper Peninsula.
