Old City Hall in Washington, D.C. Gets A Modernist Pavillion
View of the cast hall looking toward the front library. Highly finished charcoal drawings are copied from plaster casts displayed on built-in pedestals which are connected to storage cabinets below. Note the ceiling compartments have been lightly sketched onto the scratch coat of plaster to indicate the compositional design for the eventual fresco.
